It's the responsibly of the driver making the pass to pass safely, on no occasion was either of Hamilton's passing attempts going to pass safely, just like Di Resta's incident also.

Besides what we should be talking about was the fact that even with out the DRS (more passes from other parts of the track than in the DRS zone) we saw passing at Monaco....Passing at Monaco. Unbelievable.

Felt so sick when JR hit the wall, although I did fear it when I saw him going side by side with the lapped car (Kimball?). No car was able to hold the outside today.

Happy for Dan though, good race from him and got lucky with the win, but he had to be there to capitalise from the mistake.

Well if Di Resta got a drive through, so will/should Hamilton.

Although I'm sure some here will claim that will be FIA being biased towards Lewis

Its a bit simple at times and the message can be a bit sweet as well, but my main issue with this film is how quickly it comes to an end. It just comes out of nowhere really, and spoils the film slightly.

Ip Man - 9/10

A semi-Biographical account of Yip Man, the first martial arts teacher of Chinese Wing Chun, and also a teacher to a certain Bruce Lee. This is a great film with some of the best action I've seen for a while, but what's more, the story more than holds it's own. I can't believe I stumbled on this without knowing about it, what's more I got the special 2 disc edition for only £3......BONUS!!

Take into account that track conditions and weather conditions are either perfect or not properly replecated is Sim racing, for example how is air temp replecated, as that will affect top end speed. Like wise track temp, which affects grip levels.

In real life, when a crash happens...both sides are screwed. Even if blame is put on one party, both sides are screwed. I've never seen a penalty imposed on a driver to pay for full repair of the others car. If you treat SR like that then it becomes clear why it is the way it is and also why it benefits the sim.


Once again, in real life a crash in racing screws both sides. Blame does not factor into it.

Rookie mistake, you should never take part in official racing during week 13, it's like deliberately poking a corned tiger....you're going to end up without an arm to write home with.



BTW the skip racing in the 24hr fun section have been a blast. 26 racers and some of the cleanest racing I've seen in iRacing for a while

Anyone watch the race last night? The Double File restart is not working, it has to be enforced more by having the cars wait a regulated speed before waving the green flag.

As for the race, quite happy to see Conway take the win. He suffered a huge crash at the Indy 500 and it good to see him back racing.
